A car tire puts as much as 2X-3X more rubber on the road than a MC tire at most times. The wider the tire, the better the grip and the smoother the ride. A wider CT will be a little slower in handling, as compared to your frame of reference with MTs. A narrower CT is quicker and more "MT-like." Most noticeable on any size car tire will be the edges; the rounder they are, the smoother the bike rolls into a bank angle and the less time it takes to acclimate to it. Aside from all that, the greater the diameter, the less the speedometer error and the fewer revolutions per mile. So, you burn less gas and save your engine while your un-enlightened friends try to predict your impending flaming death. Bottom line: pick the tire that looks the most promising to you and go enjoy it. Be sure and post a report on it. Better yet, post several reports throughout it's life.
